As the 1st dog in APLA history to achieve the 4x Grandmaster title, Dusty is another example of the type of dog we strive to produce at Blackjack kennels.  Dusty is a 3rd generation pointing lab and was sired by our own GMPR Sir's Mighty Eli SH.  He has excelled at every challenge ever thrown at him.  Dusty achieved his APLA Grandmaster Pointing Lab title at only two years of age and his AKC Master Hunter title the very next year.  In 2004 Dusty hit the AKC hunt test circuit and in only 6 months collected 10 master passes, twice the number that he needed for his AKC Master Hunter title.  This also qualified Dusty for the 2004 AKC Master Nationals to which only the top Master Hunter dogs in the country recieve an invitation.  In 2005 Dusty returned to the APLA and ended the season as the highest titled dog in APLA history!  Dusty is equally at home in the duck blind or in the bird field.  In the upland he is constant motion and a consistant top producer of birds.  In the duck blind he scans the sky ready for action.  Dusty truly exibits what pointing labs are all about!
